Sophie has been such a blessing to us in the way she’s handled having a new little one in the house. She’s so gentle with him, loves to rub his head and helps me by bringing his passies, taking his diapers to the trash can, and picking up things that mommy drops 
As we’re adjusting to Thomas being here and are working to find our new routine, I’m asking God to help me be diligent with both Sophie and Thomas and want to make sure I’m spending enough time with both and not neglecting one or the other…. so I’ve been trying to come up with some fun “Mommy and Sophie” things to do! Our favorite so far, has been baking The other day, Sophie helped me make cupcakes for Daddy… it was her first time helping out in the kitchen and she loved it! The cupcakes turned out a little lumpy, but it was worth it

Okay… the picture of her stirring the batter is TOO cute! She looks so grown up! I can’t wait to do things like that with Madisyn!
Oh, but I can… that means she has to grow up and I’m not sure I want her to yet….

NO WAY! I can’t believe Sophie’s already THAT grown up! When I saw the first picture of her stirring, I was like ‘umm, Em let her do that by herself? She could fall out of the chair!’

oh my goodness, I remember you saying when she was little little, how you couldn’t wait to bake with your little girl!!! What a sweet sweet memory! Love you guys! Tell Sophie that Nene says hi!
